Welcome to UltimateNetnut.com!

Hello! We at UltimateNetnut.com hope you enjoy your stay. Here you can get some IT (Computer/Networking) information as well as reviewing the Foamy Archive.

If you'd like, you may now create a user account on the site! This will allow you to post in the forums and see some other junk on the site.

I've moved the IT-related information to tech.ultimatenetnut.com. If you're looking for information regarding networking and other computing information, go to that tech site (i swear updates are coming soon).

Thanks for your support and understanding! Also, a word of thanks for those of you who have contributed via donations - this is greatly appreciated, indeed.

Foamy Archive & Forums

For those of you looking for The Foamy Archive after this latest webpage redesign - fear not (it's still here).

I have turned the forums back on now that I have some more time available. I've also expanded the listing of episodes that are available now that I've upped my bandwidth to hundreds of gigabytes per month.

Finally, I've completed the work to convert the user database from the old bulletin board to the new site. It's was a bit of a challange, however, it was worth it to save the older posts.

Screencast: Installing IPCop Firewall 1.4.x
I have created a quick and dirty screencast to go over the basics of installing IPCop v1.4.x. It's very rough but should still be helpful.  It goes over step-by-step procedures of how to (HOWTO) install a very common IPCop Firewall with two interfaces (Red and Green) from start to finish.

For a free firewall, there's a ton of features for you to protect your network - all off any low-end PC.
